Following the historical news of Australia’s long-awaited passing of the same-sex marriage vote last month, the country is about to be hit with even more big news! One of the world’s most popular queer icons from US Showtime’s The L Word and Ray Donovan television series, is about to hit our shores.
Proudly supported by HER Social App, Good Together Festival is Australia’s newest queer music festival that carries a strong message celebrating togetherness and oneness across all communities, no matter how we all identify. It will be launching a weekend of events across the eastern seaboard of Australia starting with a focus on queer women, featuring local DJ’s hand-picked from each city.
Better known as Shane from The L Word, the woman that almost every queer and curious female either wanted to be or be with, Kate Moennig is one-half of LA DJ duo X-NAMES, and is being flown exclusively to Australia for the first of Good Together Festival’s intro parties, Kate Moennig will bring her live DJ set to all three main cities in the eastern seaboard, starting with Melbourne, Sydney then Brisbane over the one weekend.
Kate will also have an exclusive and rare ‘Meet & Greet’ with a very limited number of guests that purchase these tickets (get in quick before they sell out!). This ‘Meet & Greet’ will entail photo opportunities and an autograph signing with Kate before her set.
Across the rainbow community we celebrate the different diversities within the one, whilst still proving that you and I, no matter who we love, how we look and how we identify, are still all #GoodTogether
