For Soundtoy, the vast and mysterious ocean is far more than a distant symbol. In April 2021, the band was invited to join an expedition in the South China Sea aboard Tansuo-1 (Explorer-1), the research support vessel for China's crewed deep-sea submersible Fendouzhe (Striver). During the voyage, they recorded and filmed the ending theme song "Life" for the deep-sea exploration documentary A Life at 10,000 Meters. They also presented a special live performance for scientists and staff at the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
This experience forged an even deeper connection between the ocean and Sound Toy's musical journey. Now, carrying forward that same curiosity and spirit of exploration, Soundtoy's 2027 Oceania Tour is about to set sail.
For this tour, the band has specially invited Zhang Fan, a pioneering figure in Chinese blackwater underwater photography, to contribute to the visual creative direction. The tour's visual identity incorporates marine life captured through his lens. Having spent years documenting the ocean at night, Zhang Fan has continuously revealed underwater creatures rarely seen by human eyes. The tour poster features a photograph of a juvenile lionfish taken by him as its central visual element. Its elegant, flowing fins and sharp, striking spines intertwine against the deep blue sea, creating a uniquely captivating form. Though tiny in size, it possesses a strength all its own, offering another perspective on life and exploration that resonates with this tour.
This time, Soundtoy will depart from the familiar setting of the live stage, crossing oceans and cultural boundaries. Guided by the call of the sea, they will journey toward places they have never reached before.

对声音玩具而言，广袤深邃的海洋并不只是一个遥远的意象。2021年4月，乐队曾受邀随中国万米载人潜水器“奋斗者”号的科考母船“探索一号”出巡南海，在船上为深海探索纪录片《万米生涯》同期录制和拍摄了片尾曲《生命》，还在中国科学院深海科学与工程研究所为科学家和工作人员举办了一场特别的Live演出。
这段经历让海洋与声音玩具的音乐旅程有了更深的联结，如今，带着这份对未知的好奇与探索，声音玩具2027大洋洲巡演即将启程！
此次，乐队特别邀请了中国黑水摄影第一人张帆参与视觉创作，将他镜头下的海洋生命融入到了巡演的视觉表达之中。长期深入夜间海域的张帆，持续记录着那些鲜少被人看见的水下生命。本次巡演海报选用了一尾由他拍摄的狮子鱼幼体为素材创作。华丽舒展的鳍条与鲜明锋利的棘刺，在幽蓝的海水中交织出独特的形态。它身形微小，却自有力量，也为这次巡演带来了关于生命与探索的另一种想象。
这一次声音玩具将从熟悉的现场出发，跨越海域与文化的边界，循着海的方向，驶向未曾抵达之处。
